Intralogistics Safety Solutions

Intralogistics environments are becoming more demanding, and safety is more critical than ever. HUBTEX assistance systems are designed to protect drivers, loads and infrastructure by supporting safe navigation, improving visibility and reducing human error.

Solutions such as the aisle entry assistant, intelligent camera systems, the HUBTEX Load Manager and our connectivity tools help prevent collisions, ensure safer load handling and enable real-time monitoring of vehicle data. With continuous development of these systems, HUBTEX helps you increase safety, reduce incidents and create a more secure working environment for your drivers.

    PSA-mobil Personal Protection Systems

Our mobile HUBTEX personal protection system is automatically activated when the rack aisle is entered and it permanently monitors the rack aisle by means of two laser scanners. If the laser scanners detect persons or obstacles within the protection field in the aisle, your HUBTEX multidirectional side-loader will be automatically brought to a standstill.

In narrow aisles where sideloaders operate in guided mode, and the working aisle provides less than 500 mm safety clearance on each side, the warehouse operator is recommended to install approved personal protection systems. HUBTEX offers two different personal protection solutions for this type of operation, both fully compliant with these guidelines.

Please note that the PSA-mobil can only be fitted to the HUBTEX PhoeniX series.
    • Monitoring of narrow aisle with two laser scanners.
    • If people or obstacles are detected in the aisle, your HUBTEX truck brakes automatically to a standstill.
    • Can be used regardless of the number of working aisles.

    HUBTEX Clear Aisle Assist

In warehouses for long-load handling, HUBTEX multidirectional sideloaders often work in very narrow aisles with guide systems and minimal safety clearances (less than 4 inches per side) to maximise storage density. In these conditions, operator visibility is limited, and crooked or mis-positioned timber, steel, plastics or aluminium bundles can protrude from the racking. These hard-to-see obstructions are especially hazardous when the truck approaches with the cabin side, increasing the risk of impacts to the cabin, hydraulic area, chassis or battery, and leading to safety incidents, damage and downtime.

Clear Aisle Assist is HUBTEX’s patented LiDAR-based safety solution designed specifically for this challenge. Strategically placed laser sensors, configured per truck, continuously scan both driving directions within the aisle to detect protruding loads and obstacles early – even in complex racking layouts. The monitored zone adapts dynamically to vehicle speed and lift height, with the scan height typically aligned to the cabin. If an obstruction is detected, the operator receives a clear visual alert beneath the display and, if required, the system can automatically reduce travel speed to help avoid impact. Supporting drivers without adding workload, Clear Aisle Assist significantly increases warehouse safety and uptime and is available for the HUBTEX PhoeniX series.

    Aisle Entry Assistant

Narrow-aisle warehouses maximise storage capacity but leave very little room for error. Most use mechanical rail and roller guidance systems, which can make aisle entry difficult especially with long, bulky loads where the driver can’t clearly see the aisle edges. The entry funnels and guide rails are exposed to high mechanical loads, leading to damage of rails, rollers and brackets. When this happens, trucks can no longer be guided correctly, resulting in costly repairs, unplanned downtime and safety risks.

The HUBTEX Aisle Entry Assistant is a sensor-based driver assistance system designed to solve this problem. Available for all PhoeniX multidirectional sideloaders, it supports precise, collision-free entry into narrow aisles without additional floor installation. By helping operators position the truck accurately and gently at the aisle entrance, the system protects guide rails and rollers, reduces impact damage and increases uptime, safety and overall warehouse efficiency.
